Heritage Gardeners, Inc. is dedicated to the horticultural enhancement of home and community. 

Founded in Friendswood, TX in 1966, Heritage Gardeners embodies the town's unique Quaker heritage of strong educational values and a spirit of working together to build a better community.

We are best known for our Christmas and Spring Home and Garden Tours. Heritage Gardeners have hosted the events since 1966 to the delight of area families seeking a wholesome, fun, inexpensive and beautiful afternoon of discovery.

The Heritage Gardeners sponsor a garden club for children ages 6-12. The youngsters are taught by Master Gardeners following a curriculum specially developed by Texas A & M. Upon graduating, they become certified as Texas Jr. Master Gardeners. The young gardeners meet the 2nd Thursday of each month after school, learning about gardening, the environment, insects, water conservation, all while having fun on field trips and community service activities.
